The Power of Positive Reinforcement......

Yes Kindreds, you can start laughing now. We decided that maybe our friends had something going by "offering" a pack of gum to their daughter to score a goal in soccer. Okay, so we were not quite that hard core, we decided AGGRESSIVE and FOCUS would do for us. Well, the gum has been like some sort of magical antidote to the bouncing "perimeter player" that we have thus far witnessed this season. Today Mads was AWESOME. There was focus, there was determination, there were even three shots on goal, (all unsuccessful,but amazing none the less). I wish we would have started the gum earlier. Her coach was even so amazed he asked me what we fed her for breakfast. All this and only two more games left this season. Soccer is looking up in the Galbraith household. We will have to see what Halle will do next season.....

Love the pack of gum idea! Way to Go Maddie!
Holy crap!!! Okay, I really am laughing so hard! I'm also going to write that "technique" down for when my kids are older. Maddie is such a stellar athelete! Jeff and I are really impressed with the skills. We still want to go to a game, so let us know when the next one is. By the way, hooray for you for putting video on your blog!!!
