Payless Shoes

So we went school shoe shopping today. It is always fun to take my kids in public. He he he.... Anyways, we went to Payless for shoes, and low and behold, I hear Halle yelling, "Maddie, Maddie, it's Troy". She had found a pair of High School Musical shoes with a picture of Troy on the tongue.. too funny. See the link below to view "http://www.payless.com/Catalog/ProductDetail.aspx?&TLC=Girls&SLC=GirlsAthletics&BLC=GirlsAthleticsSneakers&Width=Regular&ItemCode=55624&LotNumber=056020&Type=Youth&Popularity=254&DescriptiveColor=Pink" Maddie was a little too embarrassed to get them, so we settled on a pair of white clod hoppers. Not quite as cool. Oh well, you can't have it all.

I also thought that you all might need to have a little insight into the mind of Halle. A few months ago we went to an amusement park in Michigan with some friends. It was a blast. Halle of course was a bit of a chicken and would not go on many of the rides. Too scary. Well, while sitting out, she was talking to one of my friends and asking her the names of her kids (first and middle names). When she got to the youngest daughter, my friend Lanea replied "Kimberly Caroline". Halle said "like the song?". Lanea said "what song"? And Halle immediately broke out into "Sweet Caroline, bump bump bummm..." It goes to show you that there really are only two types of people in the world - those who like Neil Diamond, and those that don't. I'm glad to see we're raising 'em right. It makes a parent proud.
