We had Halle's birthday party the same day as Halloween. I'm not sure what possessed our minds to do that. Sure made for a lot of sugar! Halle had fun. We did the traditional treasure hunt, wrap the mummies, and bat cake with eye balls. This is a picture of toilet paper mummies.
These are the crazy hoodlums at Halle's party. When her grandpa asked her about the kids at her party, she said, "there were too many girls". I'm not sure what to say about that.
The kids dressed up for the school Halloween parade. Mads was Hermione, her teacher was Frankenstein, and Halle wore her skeleton outfit. Notice the anatomically correct skeleton! Kelly rocked the costumes this year! Too bad we didn't get a picture of me (Mike) as Vanilla Ice. Ice, ice, baby. Can't you hear the music?
We've had adventures at our house with vermin and learned a great trick. Melting chocolate on the mouse trap enabled us to catch Mickey and Minnie, who had eluded us for 1 week (with just peanute butter). I now swear by it. Who says life isn't better with chocolate?

halle is such a fairbanks i can't even stand it! (in a good way, but i guess we might never get to hang out because of the girl factor and all)
I love their costumes! They fit their little personalities, haha.
